More money for roads: Harel

Two days ago a La Presse poll found, among other things, that 67% of Montrealers were dissatisfied with the state of the roads, so it shouldn’t be surprising that Louise Harel has announced she would spend $250 million over four years on road repairs, on top of the hundreds of millions already budgeted for the purpose.

Mayor Tremblay says that residents aren’t too interested in discussing a restructuring of city government and would rather hear about economic development.
