Ice and sleet cause problems
Today’s icy roads and sidewalks have overwhelmed Urgences-Santé with calls from people who’ve slipped and fallen, the brigade hivernale is out in the Plateau and Ville-Marie, heroically distributing salt and sand wherever folks are skidding, schools closed (was it that bad?), and traffic and public transit were slowed down.
