More cops, and we’ll know where they are
City police are to get 160 temporary hires and police will all soon be trackable by a GPS gadget – an innovation which is supposed to cost more than $100 million to install. Also, the GPS is a chip in the computer inside the patrol car, which won’t help if officer and vehicle are separated.

$100 milliion!!! Man, I’d love to see the real numbers on that job. Can’t they just track them by the GPS’s already installed in their smart phones? Lord knows they’ll never go anywhere without them.
