I hate being constantly bombarded with video advertising. I can’t even line up for groceries in peace anymore.

Some advertising monitors have the power button accessible – you should take advantage, Tux. Barring that, I like to take a moment to flip Oprah’s face over. Futile gesture, I know, but it makes me feel better about shopping.
As for the new board in Central Station, I don’t like that thing at all. The spacing between the colour elements is so big that it makes for a “blurry” viewing experience.
