Early scorecard for the Coderre administration

The Gazette looks at how the new municipal administration’s actions measure up to campaign promises. Denis Coderre’s famous boast that he didn’t want a party system at city hall seems to have fallen by the wayside, and passionate desires for transparency expressed during the campaign have also been dashed by reality: the executive committee is more secretive than ever.

Incidentally, the father of the reporter who wrote the above piece died recently, and turns out to have been a noted photographer of Arctic life.
