Oratory remains popular with visitors

Metro has been doing a series about church buildings this week, now looking at the exceptional case of St. Joseph’s Oratory, a pilgrimage site that welcomes two million visitors a year while many others close and go dark. They also looked at the 40 churches demolished in Quebec over the last decade and the uncertain fate of grandiose Très-Saint-Nom-de-Jésus in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. The articles include a raft of local paper links pursuing related stories.
