It’s getting windy around by here
Definitely blowing up a gale over here. I’ve brought in the potted plants off the back porch – charged up devices – know where the candles and matches are. Do I need to sort out my little camp stove in case of emergency coffee, or is that overkill?

In Villeray? It’s just sort of blustery in the Plateau. The winds may come, but I suspect they won’t blow as hard as the media hype on this one.

My wife’s flight from LGA > YUL was cancelled. Apparently in Soho it’s not much of a MEGASTORM at the moment, and they’re supposedly in the thick of it.

I had a flight LGA > YUL today as well, but because it got cancelled yesterday already, I decided to take the greyhound yesterday night and got out before everything shut down. Seems like not a bad idea in retrospect, even though the bus ride is looong.

Yep, another friend of mine came back hurriedly from New York by bus yesterday too. I hope they were decent enough not to hold you too long at the border.

No, the border was quick – but I was in the last bus of the 18:30 departure batch, and shoved onto a local bus after Albany (which was getting empty towards the border). The Greyhound/Trailways employees are not good at making clear and frequent announcements for everybody waiting in line, so when there are a lot of people, it can get a bit stressful.

Well, Greyhound has cancelled bus service indefinitely. Looks like you made the right call, ant6n.
