Storm trouble: expect winds on Monday evening
A reader tweeted me to say I was wrong earlier to say the tropical storm won’t hit us – here’s the Environment Canada warning of storm effects as of Monday evening. (Also news about the War of 1812 at the bottom.) CBC is saying it won’t be too bad for us though.

It’s been updated – all it says now is
“Special weather statement ended for:
Western Quebec
Eastern Quebec
Central Quebec.”

Thanks Ian and Lee. There were plenty of contradictory predictions on this over the weekend. Right now there’s just a wind warning on the regular Environment Canada weather page.
