Storm may have blown out before it gets here

Later note: I’m informed that there’s likely to be strong wind and rain from the big storm here Monday night.

Hurricane Sandy/Frankenstorm looks like it will have blown itself out before it reaches here. This Weather Channel map shows a 30 mph (50 kmh) wind reaching here by Friday at which point it might feel like nothing but an ordinary rainstorm.
