Big storm expected to reach Canada
The nascent nor’easter being called the Frankenstorm, a combination of Hurricane Sandy with several other storm systems, is expected to move north and inland in the U.S. next week, but it’s too soon to tell what effect it will have on the Montreal area. The Gazette has a podcast in which an Environment Canada meteorologist gives his predictions – and of course the Gazette interviewer brings up how bad it will be for motorists.

To be fair, pedestrians generally aren’t at risk of serious injury or death from big storms, drivers and their passengers are.
