Corruption news from Tuesday

Gilles Surprenant continued his testimony Tuesday with descriptions of how bribe money was passed around and saying that corruption was an open secret with elected officials refraining from questioning the engineering department’s crooked numbers for more than ten years.

Not surprisingly, opposition motions to reprimand Mayor Tremblay didn’t get any traction at city hall, with Tremblay still maintaining he knew nothing.
