Don’t befriend beluga: Scientists
A beluga whale spotted off the Old Port is still hanging out there and possibly suffering from its lengthy contact with fresh water, not its natural environment. Scientists want people to stay away from the animal so it doesn’t forge any bonds here and makes its own way back downstream to the sea.
