City removing weight from park
The city’s moving to remove 250 tons of material from Jean-Paul Riopelle park, which is right above the Ville-Marie tunnel. A report in the summer said the structural situation was doubtful, but permanent repairs now have to wait till next year.

They should just fill in that stupid highway with concrete and keep the park. We should have built better rail links to the West Island instead of a downtown expressway.
