Lino Zambito wraps it up
Thursday is Lino Zambito's final day of testimony but his performance this week has certainly gone down in history.
The Gazette dug back to the 1980s to show the SQ were aware of both Accurso and Abdallah back during the construction of Manic 5, although they were not charged with anything at the time.
Almost as a footnote, Zambito also provided some explanation why roadworks on the Main took from 2006 to 2008 to complete. According to him, city engineers didn’t tell him or other contractors that there was a big concrete slab under the street, meaning everything took longer and was more expensive to do. The damage this long dig did to the neighbourhood and its merchants still lingers.

Just for clarity, Manic 5 was constructed in the 60′s. During the 80′s, it was being updated.

Thanks Clément. (I always thought Manic 5 sounded like an avant-garde jazz combo.)
