Mafia-construction links shown at commission
Direct links between Mafia elements and the construction industry are being shown on video at the Charbonneau commission. Noon radio news is saying Mayor Tremblay is mad that the RCMP sat on these tapes rather than informing municipalities what was going on in the Consenza Social Club back room. “sat on” or deliberately avoided looking into? I’m very curious as to if there was any pressure coming from the top about the nature of that investigation.

According to Monique Muise, the explanation is amazingly simple: the RCMP were only interested in evidence about drug deals. Everything else was ignored as “junk DNA” so to speak.
