François Legault says Montreal’s not working hard enough and goes on to reveal to François Cardinal that Mayor Tremblay was one of his profs at HEC but it’s clear he prefers Régis Labeaume’s strident mayoral style to Gérald Tremblay’s low-key approach.

Or maybe it’s just that Tremblay, once a Liberal minister, has endorsed the PQ, at least in matters concerning the city.

Meanwhile, Louise Harel is demanding more independence for Montreal, evoking how Toronto negotiated such powers from Ontario back in 2007.
