Not sure if I just have a broken browser but that link (the elevator story) just shows a white page for me. Oddly the story was there in the source to read, though…

Thanks for that Doobious… I’ll be terrified in elevators forever now! I remember I used to have a friend who lived in an apartment building on Cote-des-Neiges where the elevator, when descending, would go terrifyingly fast, it almost felt like your feet were lifting off the floor. I never thought much of it as a kid…
