UdeM adds “eyes” to new space telescope
UdeM is providing the eyes for a new space telescope set to replace the Hubble in 2018.

I don’t want to take anything away from our contribution to the project, but that isn’t quite true.
There are 4 different cameras on James Webb, and CSA is providing one. In addition to the sensor, this component houses a guidance camera that acts like Image Stabilization by precisely tracking a number of stars.
But its a quite proud achievement nonetheless.
