MUHC gives up plan to enlarge General
The MUHC has given up its plan to embiggen the Montreal General, a blessing for Mount Royal which does not need more construction on it.

Once the new Royal Vic/Children’s/Chest/research center is open, the General is supposed to given a head-to-toe thorough renovation, one block at a time. No need for a new building.

My girlfriend’s in the Research building. It’s a fairly decrepit building and they can’t wait to move out. Some of the floor layouts are absolutely mind-boggling, to say nothing of the various maintenance tunnels they have to use to get from wing to wing. Watch your head!
As for 1750 Cedar, anything would be better than the current raccoon-infested wasteland. Urban blight right on top of the mountain.
