Students to demonstrate Friday
As the 22nd of the month is an important date to student protesters, Friday will see a bigger demonstration in the afternoon than we’ve seen in recent weeks.

Why is it an important date?

The first major demo took place on March 22 and there’s been a big demo every 22nd since then including a massive one on May 22. Big demos are expected today in Montreal and Quebec City and Radio-Canada also thinks the Fête nationale will have student demo overtones this year.
