Ecclestone demands tax-free status in Canada
Bernie Ecclestone – what a great start to a sentence – is demanding that he should pay zero income tax in Canada despite being given $75 million of our money over five years.

I agree he should pay zero. He shouldn’t be allowed to conduct business in Canada and therefore should not pay any taxes. What at jackass!

75$ million over five years is 15$ million a year, that’s like 5% of what the tuition hikes will bring in annually.
Maybe we should start looking at every questionable government spending relative to the tuition hikes – which are apparently so necessary to get our budget balanced. They probably provide better context than giving a number in the millions that cannot be grasped by somebody with the income of a mortal.

What a crook…
Not a fan of car racing, but see how important it is for many Montrealers. Its a shame we can’t keep it out of the city until Bernie is long gone.

Maybe we should add costs into the tuition hike, like the cost of policing, the loss to businesses, the damaged cars, windows, etc.
