What I like here is the argument that numbers, which we’d all like to believe can’t lie, can be made to say many things. There’s a great book from the 50s called How to lie with Statistics by Darrell Huff

While my personal attack was out of line (fonctionnaire), I think that this is the point I was trying to make: This crisis will not be resolved through purely scientific means so it’s pretty useless to try to use them argue your “side”.
