Orange and blue lines back in business
Part of the orange line was paralyzed Wednesday morning as a train struck an object on the tracks, described as a ladder, near Snowdon station. Passengers were evacuated but nobody was hurt.
A few minutes later, the blue line also hit a snag when a train broke down.
The STM says there’s no evidence these events were anything but accidental. The metro is running normally now.
