A man suspected of multiple dépanneur robberies was arrested Monday – the Gazette account is notable chiefly for its studied avoidance of the word “dépanneur”.

The Gazette should really stick to articles about Beaconsfield and Cote St Luc – the only areas of the city its employees are familiar with.

Depanneur *is* an English word, in the Montreal dialect of English anyway.
