I successfully got into Montreal’s french-language craigslist by changing my DNS server to Google’s: 8.8.8.8 – the english language one was still down.
To clarify slightly, under Google’s DNS, montreal.craigslist.org still points at a working craigslist. Any other address will still lead to that terms of service page…

Interesting comments about how corporate vermin may have done this, either with a virus or new, pro-business regulation. As if there’s any difference.
