Indeed it is! And private money is good for lobbying government to spend public money for the benefit of the rich.

True, but I wonder if people would stand for public money going into a facility that hardly anyone will use but top executives.

Sure, just need to spin it right. The execs need to be able to travel to build business, to create more jobs, etc. etc.
