Evolo Condos in Montreal
Toronto writer has a rave about some businesses along rue St-Paul, a street I suspect Montrealers mostly leave to tourists.

Somehow back in the days that Hotel Nelson had punk shows that neighbourhood was more interesting.
I’m old enough to remember going to rue Saint-Paul just to visit a wonderful “friperie” called “Drags” (long gone now).
I remember Drags, across the street from Marché Bonsecours. It was fascinating, although I don’t think I ever bought anything there.
The salespeople/owners at Drags were a bit scary and none too nice. The shop, on the other hand, was second to none. Does anyone know when it closed ? Wonder what happened to their stock ?
