I rarely link to letters to the editor, but Alex Norris has a good one Monday in the Gazette defending Projet Montréal from charges that the decline of Prince Arthur is the fault of their administration of the Plateau. (There’s also a second, shorter letter on that page that I believe was written by a regular blog reader.)
The Gazette’s own link back to the initial letter fails, but it appears to be this one, a letter given considerable prominence plus an audio interview from CJAD that’s also linked.
Norris is right. So is Marc Guerard. Prince Arthur is past its prime; there are things that could be done to help it, but Projet’s decisions are not the reason it’s out of fashion.
