    A baby was born this morning on Jacques-Cartier bridge during the rush hour. The parents are missing the opportunity to name him Jacques-Cartier, or even Dupont.

    We’ve been warned. Wednesday will see the first real snow of this winter, 20 cm* expected, followed by a bit more on Thursday (or possibly rain, if the weather gods are displeased), followed by the classic Montreal deke into bright but frigid weather for the weekend.
    *8 inches, or, for those of us in the biz, dang close on 48 picas of snow.
