Changes in both garbage and recycling pickup in most boroughs with the new year are confusing the heck out of people and resulting in piles of trash being left uncollected in some areas. I admit to having been stymied by my own borough's page on when to put out my garbage and recycling now: nobody's taken my recycling away since Christmas. posted at 08:25
