Orthodox Jewish schools have made what sounds like a rather dodgy deal with Quebec to commence teaching the provincial curriculum, along about 2013 or so, which they can fairly bet is far enough off that other things besides reasonable accommodation will be on the public's mind and they can get on with teaching only Torah as is usual. It isn't surprising, as the curriculum is designed to integrate kids into Quebec society, exactly opposite to the Orthodox approach of living separate lives. posted at 08:48
