Tories' bill C-10 allows for the
withdrawal of tax credits from film productions deemed
"contrary to public order". In other words, any of these
seven feature films supported by Telefilm Canada could effectively be nixed if someone in the federal government found them subversive or distasteful. Do we really want that government dictating our cultural life?
