The folks on Delphis-Delorme Street on the far eastern tip of the island get their
tax bills reduced but not cancelled after a wave of protest followed
outrageously high bills being issued. I suppose the moral is you can fight city hall and win – partially.
Incidentally, Delphis Delorme was a councillor of the town of Pointe-aux-Trembles from 1921 to 1923. With a name like that he should've been a poet.
