Slower driving, faster transit
 
The city wants to cut top speeds on many major streets to 40 km/h, although if there's no patrolling it will be as meaningless as the current posted limits. Lots of other urban transit suggestions are made in a document submitted to the city this week, including extension of the Metro blue line eastward, revival of bridge tolls and – wait for it! – trams.
