A bundle of obits for a rainy Monday

Former Supreme Court honcho Antonio Lamer died this weekend. He was 74, born in the east end, a well respected jurist and professor. His Wikipedia entry has links to relevant legal matters.

Tom Johnson, defenseman on the Canadiens' 1950s dynasty and later a coach with Boston's 1972 Cup-winning team, also died last week.

Also, Gerry Snyder, a stalwart in Jean Drapeau's circle, chiefly recalled for bringing the Expos to Montreal, died today.
