The construction of the Highway 30 route around Montreal has been imminent the whole time I've been doing this blog. Farmers south of Montreal have resisted the proposed route, and now the
Mohawks of Kahnawake have spoken up to say they
want to be consulted on the route of the highway that will pass so close to their lands.
