The city has come up with a scheme for
ride-sharing lanes on highways into town – the 20, the 40, and the north-south axes connecting to bridges. It should start
next spring, and I hope it does, now that our federal government has
blithely pulled the plug on Canada's adherence to the Kyoto accord.
