tested the health of several barmen working in
smoky bars, with plans to test them again after a period of smokelessness: one tavern waiter turned out to be
inhaling the equivalent of 20 cigarettes a day although he never smoked in his life.

Toronto, where smoking has become
deeply unfashionable.
